Terms of Service — VideoBGRemover Usage & Credit Rules

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VideoBGRemover (https://videobgremover.pro), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

You must be at least 16 years of age to access or use VideoBGRemover.

2. Service Scope & Technical Specifications

VideoBGRemover provides:

• Cloud AI Video Background Remover & Changer (/ & /create): Automated and text-prompted video segmentation exporting Transparent WebM, Composed H.264 MP4, and PNG Sequence ZIP.
• Cloud AI Video Blur (/blur-video): Automated tracking and redaction for faces, license plates, screens, backgrounds, and custom prompts.
• Browser-Local Tools (/green-screen-video & /test-transparent-video): Free client-side WebGL2 chroma keying and transparent video alpha verification.

3. Ownership of Your Media

You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all source videos, custom backgrounds, and exported video outputs you create using VideoBGRemover. You grant us only a temporary, limited license to process your uploaded files when using our Cloud AI tools.

4. Credits, Preview Billing & 7-Day Cached Re-Styling

• Credit Calculation: Automatic cutout, text cutout, and single-target blur cost 1 credit per billed second (max(3, ceil(seconds))). Faces plus license plates cost 2 credits per second. Screen blur is a flat 1 credit. Resolution does not change the price. A cloud job is limited to about 60 seconds.
• 3-Second Preview First: A preview bills the first 3 seconds: 3 credits for automatic cutout or single-target blur, 6 credits for faces plus plates, and 1 credit for screen blur.
• 0-Credit Re-Composition: While a completed task's segmentation mask remains cached (up to 7 days), changing background colors/images/videos or adjusting blur strength costs 0 additional credits.
• No Expiration on Purchased Credits: Pay-as-you-go credits purchased on VideoBGRemover do not expire as long as your account remains active.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload unlawful content, CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or malware, or attempt to abuse or reverse-engineer our cloud GPU queues.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Service "as is": VideoBGRemover is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Exclusion of damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Liability cap: In all circumstances, our total liability is strictly capped at the actual amount you paid for the relevant credit pack associated with the claim.

7. Suspension and Termination

Prohibited activities: You must not upload unlawful content, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, or malware, nor may you abuse, scrape, or reverse-engineer our cloud processing queue.

Remedies and penalties: If you violate these rules, we may issue a warning, remove the offending content, suspend your account, or permanently terminate your account.

Effect on credits: Account termination does not alter or cancel the unused credit pack rules already specified in our Refund Policy.
